Description
The Sherman Scholars Program is hosting the United Way's Walk a Mile Experience for all of our scholars. The experience is a simulation about families living in poverty - or "just" having to make tough financial choices. Sherman scholars will teach in urban and Title I schools, and we work to help them be better informed about and be empathetic to the diverse experiences of their future students and families.
