Homecoming is a great opportunity to reconnect with our UMBC community—fellow faculty and staff, students, alumni, parents, and friends. We encourage you to attend, and to invite people in your UMBC networks to come along, too.
There’s something for everyone at Homecoming 2019: GRIT-X talks, the Homecoming Carnival, and the Crab Feast, not to mention Trevor Noah’s return to UMBC. The Homecoming carnival will include food trucks, rides, games, and an Alumni, Family & Friends Tent. We will also be celebrating UMBC’s new Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building alongside Governor Larry Hogan, Maryland Senate President Thomas V. Miller Jr., and fellow retrievers Maryland Speaker of the House Adrienne A. Jones ’76, and Baltimore County Executive John A. Olszewski ‘17.
Visit the Homecoming website for the full calendar of activities, discounts at the UMBC Bookstore, information on how you can paint the campus black and gold with Showcase Your Spirit, your chance to win prizes at Black and Gold Fridays, and to register for some of our most popular events.
