Wisdom Institute Launch with Senator Mikulski
The Wisdom Institute’s inaugural event with featured speaker, Senator Barbara Mikulski, was held in the new UMBC Event Center on Friday, April 13, 2018. The 100 retirees/guests limit was quickly filled for this special event. Many enjoyed a tour of the Event Center following the luncheon. A reception was held in the new UMBC Event Center. During the luncheon held in the Retriever Room, remarks were heard from Drs. Rous and Lee as well as comments from Rhodes Scholar, Naomi Mburu and UMBC basketball representatives Tim Hall and Ryan Odom. Following lunch, a question and answer period was hosted with Dr. Hrabowski and Senator Barbara Mikulski.
